Is Sky Room Weatherproof?
–Yes. Our bi-level rooftop lounge features a retractable glass roof on the North Terrace, a clear umbrella system on the South with a clear plastic enclosure that we put up during the fall and winter months, and a fully enclosed 33rd floor with floor to ceiling windows. We are able to host events year-round in all of our private event spaces.

Is this venue 21 and over?
-On the days and times that we are open to the public, currently Tuesday-Saturday evenings, we are strictly 21 and over. When the venue is not open to the public or booked exclusively, we can host all types of events. We have hosted sweet 16s, baby showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, and other various all-aged events.
Do you have set food and beverage packages?
-We do not have set packages. Throughout the years, we have come to realize that clients like to customize their food and beverage packages. It really allows us to create a vibrant party with some unique touches.
Can you bring outside catering?
-Due to the limitations of our space configuration, we do not currently allow any outside catering unless it is Kosher delivery or a sushi vendor. Both will need to provide COI’s listing Sky Room as additional insured for the event.
Can you bring your own cake?
-Yes! We love hosting birthdays and other celebrations. Depending on the type of cake, there may be a cake cutting fee associated.
Can we create our own dessert table?
-Absolutely. We can provide the table and linens and you are more than welcome to bring in as many sweets as your heart desires!
Is there music played in the event spaces? Can we play our own music?
-Yes, we have several different music options for your event. Our House system can play a radio station, we can plug in an iPod, or we can get you your own private DJ. If live music is more what thrills you and your guests, we have hosted some amazing events with all types of bands, from jazz to salsa and many more.
Can we bring in decorations?
– You can certainly bring in decorations but please let your Sky Room event coordinator know about them. They know the space very well, so they will let you know if they can foresee any potential issues. These decorations will be your responsibility to set up and breakdown and they will need to be removed at the close of your event.
Is there a DJ?
-We have a DJ booth on our North Terrace and can set up satellite DJ booths in our other event spaces for an additional charge.
Do you have vendors that you work with for entertainment?
-Yes, we have lots of preferred vendors including casino tables, photobooth, Karaoke, arcade games and more!
Who is our on-site contact during the event?
-The Events Director or Events Coordinator is present the entire time of the event to be your point of contact. Along side them, there is always a manager on duty who can also assist with any questions or concerns.
Do you have Karaoke at your venue?
-No, we do not have Karaoke setup in our venue however, we work with many vendors that can provide Karaoke services for an additional charge.
If we book an event, do we have to leave right away after the event or can we stay?
-We usually encourage our guests to stay when we are open to the public. If you book your party on a day when we are not open to the public, the end of your party will be the time at which your guests will have to leave.
Is it possible to book rooms at one of the hotels below Sky Room if we book an event?
-Certainly. We will be happy to facilitate the booking process and put you in touch with the right person, depending on your needs.
I am not from New York. How easy it is to get to Sky Room ?
–Very easy! We are located in the middle of Manhattan, minutes from Times Square, the Javits Center, Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, right across from one of the main mass transit hubs in the city. So rest assured that you and your guests will have many options available to get to Sky Room and admire the hustle and bustle from high above.
